Penn State Law Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic Submission Form

In light of a recent federal court order, companies are not currently required to file beneficial ownership information (“BOI”) with FinCEN and are not subject to liability if they fail to do so while the order remains in force. However, companies may continue to voluntarily submit BOI reports. The next scheduled hearing regarding the BOI reporting requirement is set for March 25, 2025, where the courts will revisit the status of this requirement.

The EAC aims to assist clients who otherwise would not have access to legal counsel. It is not a service to cut legal fees; if you can afford to retain outside counsel, you should. The Clinic's goal is to assist clients who do not have access to legal counsel.
