On March 22, Fayette LaunchBox and the Readiness Institute jointly organized a professional skill-building workshop as part of Invent Penn State Startup Week 2023 at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.

The Fayette LaunchBox has announced the winners of its third annual Shark Tank competition, held April 20 at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.

The Craft It, Pitch It, Win It competition was held on April 12, during which finalists presented to a panel of three judges about a business or product and their plans to implement new marketing strategies.

Eight Penn State student startups have been selected into the 2023 Invent Penn State Summer Founders Program. The Summer Founders Program provides teams with at least one Penn State student founder a $15,000 grant to work on their startup, social good, or nonprofit idea over the summer at Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank.

Zoelie Rivera-Ocasio, a soil sciences and biogeochemistry doctoral candidate in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State, launched Zoils & Pigments, a startup manufacturing soil-based paints such as watercolors, gouache and crayons, with the assistance of Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank's FastTrack Accelerator program.
